Resume
Be concise. Use bullet points. Use active verbs. Avoid complete sentences.
Students should begin developing a resume during the 10th grade year in order to begin capturing their experiences:
academic coursework
awards and achievements
volunteer work
extracurricular activities e.g. clubs, sports, etc.
job-related skills and experiences
The goal is to demonstrate to the college that the applicant is capable of academic success; therefore, the bulk of the resume should describe academic achievements and school-related activities.
