Business Skills
Students will work on communication skills, and teamwork and collaboration skills.
Students will practice interviewing skills to work on professional communication and to highlight their strengths. Students will also gain some skills in analyzing business situations and making recommendations. For instance, students will research different franchise opportunities to learn more about different industries. For the summative, students will work on a career cluster of interest to develop a SWOT analysis presentation, focusing on strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats. SWOT analysis allows students to apply analysis to a variety of industries.
